Officially, Kilmurry (RC) has parish records dating back to 1786.
Film no. P4803 at the National Library of Ireland contains Baptisms from June 2 1786 to Feb 1812 and Marriages 1803-1805.
A note says that the records are "in a very mutilated condition". They're not joking! The register looks as if a dog chewed it up and someone then tried to piece it back together again. As a result, you will find pieces of marriages stuck in among the baptisms and dates missing from many of the pages as well as their being out of sequence. The records from 1786-1791 are extremely difficult to read and many pages are illegible.
