"Heidi"

Passed away at 6 1/2 years

Heidi, my lovely first ever golden girl, despite my vet's best efforts succumbed to a severe bowel infection at 6 1/2 years. Such a showgirl, she was a Best In Group winner and won a specialty challenge at QLD GRC Champ Show 1987.

We even dabbled in some obedience work and she gained her companion dog title winning a winner of winners along the way. Heidi also won Novice Gundog Obedience at one of our champ shows. Thankyou to Maureen and Brian Hanley who asked me when I went to pick up Heidi up as a puppy "Have you ever thought about showing her?"...

Heidi loved to chase cats, she has chased one up a tree.
