The success of the 300 series of application equipment and "TOTAL ENERGY CONTROL" (Patent Pending) is now being complemented with the introduction of new spray booth and recovery systems.  The company has recently launched their "AIR STREAM" spray cabin and "MCF"Air Stream MCF Filtrationcombination multi-cyclone/filter unit.

Eurotec's innovative range of purpose designed spray cabins and recovery systems are designed to meet the requirements of the full spectrum of the industry.  Whether your requirement is for a low cost manual system, a self-contained small parts coater or a fully integrated automatic system, Eurotec has the product to match your needs.

EUROTEC POWDER SPRAYBOOTHS & EXTRACTION UNITS
Eurotec AIR STREAMThe Eurotec "AIR STREAM"  spray booth incorporates powder extraction via a compact combination "MCF" multi-cyclone/reverse pulse filter system incorporating swing wing cartridges.  The single module attaches directly to the booth eliminating the need for ducting.

The "AIR STREAM" is fabricated from high quality stainless steel panels, with the interior being polished.  A translucent polypropylene roof allows excellent light penetration into the booth.

The booth base is flat and low and angled to the side panels, the angle plates being fitted with directional air diffusers operating on a timed pulse basis to avoid excessive build up of powder within the booth and to encourage movement of oversprayed powder towards the internal extraction duct.

Key Features/Benefits:

Extraction unit is attached directly to the booth.
The multi-cyclone is directly coupled to a reverse pulse filter incorporating  the extraction/recovery unit which can be attached to the booth, either in single or multiple form.
The multi-cyclone consists of multiples of 750 cfm (1275m3/hr) high efficiency recovery pods.
Cyclonic action separates the recoverable powder (up to 99% in classified powders) which is deposited to a single common collection container.
Exhausted air is drawn through the multi-cyclone into the integral reverse-pulse swing wing filter unit.
The filter operates by drawing contaminated air into the filter chamber and  thus on to the outer surface of the cartridge filter elements, the air passes through the cartridge and the clean air is discharged through the fan outlet into an acoustic housing before returning to the workshop.
Collected particulate is cleaned off the cartridge elements be means of a cleaning wing located inside the cartridge.
The wing rotates, rinsing the cartridge with a reverse air jet over the total surface area to give efficient cleaning of the whole filter.
The collection container is quickly and easily detached from the cyclone body and can be fitted with high level warning sensors to avoid any possibility of reclaim powder being passed through to the filter section.
The "AIR STREAM" booth and combination powder extraction/recovery unit are compact in design and when mounted on a mobile platform, can be easily moved on and off line where required.

EUROTEC MANUAL CABIN

Developed as a low cost compact manual cabin, the Eurotec M.C. has a faceManual Cabin opening of 1300mm high and 900mm wide and is normally supplied for off-line use.

For ease of transportation the cabin can be supplied in flat pack form and easily assembled.  Access to the filter cartridges and powder collector is from the front of the booth to enable siting against a wall, the M.C. is designed to maximise on factory space.

Extraction is via integral filter cartridges which are cleaned in sequence by pulsing air which ensures an even extraction rate and keeps powder concentrations within health and safety standards.

When used with Eurotec's C85 range of manual units incorporating "TOTAL ENERGY CONTROL" (Patent Pending), the M.C. spray cabin provides a high quality, compact and low cost powder coating system.  It is ideal as a sampling or cleaning cabin for hoppers, guns, venturies and other application system components on large powder coating lines.

Key Benefits:

Modular.
Flat pack.
Integral cartridges cleaned via pulsed air.
Easy access to filter cartridges.
Easily removable powder collector.
Low cost, high quality system.
Ideal for sampling or cleaning cabin.
Compact and self-contained.

EUROTEC SMALL PARTS COATER

EUROTEC SMALL PARTS COATERDesigned to coat large quantities of small components, the S.P. Coater is fabricated from 10 mm polypropylene, allowing greater charge retention and higher powder deposition.   The unique shape of the Eurotec S.P. Coater, coupled with linear airflow, causes the powder to spiral following the workpiece through the coating chamber, and enabling the most complex product shapes to be fully coated.

Designed to carry two automatic powder guns, which can be sited on opposite sides and angles, or on one side only if the products are rotated.

The complete coating system, including pre-treatment, conveyor and oven can be installed in an area as small as 10sq. metres.

The Eurotec S.P. Coater is also ideal for use in large installations where the coating of small ancillary items presents problems in jigging and processing through the main powder cabin.

Key Benefits:

Ideal for high volume items.
Unique shape and powder flow enables most complex products to be fully coated.
10mm polypropylene allows greater charge retention and higher powder deposition.
Complete coating system including pre-treatment, conveyor and oven can be installed in 10 sq.m.

MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, OR FULLY AUTOMATIC POWDER RECLAIM METHODS
The powder in the cyclone collection bin is transferred by venturi powder pumps back to the system fluid bed via a mini-cyclone (velocity reducer) and sieve.   This is carried out on a continuous basis controlled by a sequential timer preset to operate on a cycle of 60 seconds transfer in every 90 seconds.

The cyclone collection bin is fitted with a high level sensor to provide an audio/visual signal in the event of the powder level rising to the point where it would enter the filter unit.

The system fluid bed is fitted with high and low level sensors to control the flow of virging powder from a seperate fluid bed.  This top-up bed is fitted with a low level sensor to warn that the bed needs to be refilled.

The system control unit allows the choice of transfer of reclaim powder or fresh powder top-up or the dual operations of both functions.

When a spraybooth is cleaned down, the sudden influx of a large quantity of powder into the reclaim system can possibly overfill the system fluid bed.  A maximum level sensor is therefore provided for this bed to give an audio/visible warning that this point has been reached.

VIRGIN POWDER FEED SYSTEMS
These are designed around each systems requirements, either fully automatic, semi-automatic or manual.  Feeding from the manufactures box, fluid bed, 125kg drum, 'big bag', or Durabin are all available, and are again matched to the system and customer needs.
